A unique upskilling program for smart production

The fast digitalisation of the industry creates new opportunities and increased competitiveness. But it also brings new demands on skills and knowledge among the professionals. Ingenjör4.0 is a unique, module based upskilling program developed in cooperation by 13 Swedish Universities.

— This is the first time I’ve ever seen 13 Swedish Universities collaborating to upskill the Swedish industry. Together we have created a smorgasbord of short web-based educations that are offered to companies and individuals all over Sweden, says Bengt-Göran Rosén, Project Manager and professor at Halmstad University and continuous:

— The reception so far has been fantastic and the strong support we have from both Teknikföretagen and Sveriges Ingenjörer have enabled Ingenjör4.0 to keep growing.

The modules include topics such as Cyber Physical Systems and Digital Twins, Big Data Machine Learning and Sensors, Human Robot Collaboration, Standards and Interoperability in Digitized Industry, and much more.

Since the start in 2020, engineers from companies like Volvo, SKF, and AFRY have started their upskilling journey with Ingenjör4.0.
