Ingenjör5.0 is ready to accelerate upskilling for future manufacturing

Ingenjör5.0 has been granted continued funding within Net Zero Industry, a joint initiative by Vinnova, Formas and Energimyndigheten within the Impact Innovation program. The funding runs until 2028.

This enables Ingenjör5.0 to continue driving large-scale upskilling efforts, helping Swedish industry reach net zero greenhouse gas emissions and build resilience.

We are very pleased to have the opportunity to keep developing Ingenjör5.0 to strengthen Sweden’s engineering competence, says Bengt-Göran Rosén

Göran Rosén, professor at Halmstad University and project manager for Ingenjör5.0

— Now, we look forward to continuing our work with upskilling for future manufacturing, supporting Swedish industry in achieving net zero emissions and long-term resilience.

Ingenjör5.0 offers short, web-based expert learning modules developed by 13 Swedish Universities. The modules give professional engineers the knowledge and skills required for future manufacturing. This autumn, 16 different modules are available, covering topics ranging from AI for technical applications to how to design products that contain critical raw materials.
