This module address the architecture of an CPS (sensors, databases etc.) and relevant standards. During the module you will gain conceptual knowledge to build a DT based on a physical robot cell. The module will conclude by approaching a broader perspective how to initialise and realise digital transformation, a CPS-approach in your own organisation.

Learning objectives
Describe an architecture for a CPS and have knowledge about relevant standards.
Apply conceptual knowledge in building a DT based on a physical robot cell.
Have basic and broad understanding of digital transformation to initialise and realise a CPS-approach.
Module structure
The learning module is a mixture of self-study, webinars, and cross-company exercises.
Targeted participants
  • Beginners and Industrial practitioners: Managers, Engineers, and Technicians interested in learning more about planning and operation of Cyber-physical systems.
Time commitment

To complete this module, the participant is expected to schedule approximately 4 hours per week over 5 weeks (20 hours in total).
