This module continues the Introduction Module by presenting in-depth content of how management of production innovation can leverage new production technologies, redesign of products, or optimizing manufacturing processes. Integrated into the firm’s digitalization strategy, productivity can be increased while costs are reduced and sustainable production can be ensured. Additionally, by fostering a culture of innovation, management can encourage employees to develop new ideas and solutions, creating a continuous cycle of improvement that supports the digital transformation of the manufacturing process.
